NRA FIRST Steps PISTOL Course Outline

Description: NRA First Steps/Pistol is a class (including a live fire range session) to introduce participants to pistol safety, parts and operation of both semi-automatics and/or revolvers. You will learn about ammunition, safety rules, loading and unloading, basic cleaning and storage and basic shooting fundamentals. You may bring your own handgun, or you may use the instructor's. All safety gear (eye and ear protection) will be provided if needed.   Costs is $75 plus ammo costs if you don't provide your own.

GOAL: To provide beginning shooters with an introduction to the knowledge, skills and attitude necessary to own and use a specific pistol model safely.
